It had been a month since Harmonie left Virginia and chose Chauncey over her parents, and though her parents would still contact her on a daily basis, most times she wouldn’t even answer because she was around Chauncey and didn’t want any conflict between the two of them. When she wants around him, she would answer but the conversation always ended badly because they were still trying to tell her that he wasn’t right for her and because she knew they were wrong she would normally hang up on them and when they called back she wouldn’t answer.

Harmonie spent most of her time at Chauncey’s, if she wasn’t in class she was at his house, the only time she went to the dorms was to get more clothes, but that was very rarely because Chauncey was always taking her shopping or surprising her with something new, though she still didn’t know exactly what he did, she had an idea and though she didn’t agree with it, as long as it didn’t interfere with their relationship or her being hurt she kind of didn’t care. Harmonie was sitting on the couch watching TV, it was a Friday night and like most Fridays she was at Chauncey’s watching Chase for him and waiting for him to come home from wherever he was. She never really questioned it because she was so blinded by the shopping sprees, money and good dick to even realize that he was disrespecting her.

Her phone began ringing and she looked down and saw that it was Val, she really didn’t want to talk to her because ever since she told her what happen between her parents Val would always tell her she was wrong. Then on the other hand she did want to talk to her because she honestly missed her best friend, hell if she was honest with herself she missed a lot of people because besides the times she actually got to talk to Chauncey the only person she really talked to was Chase. Though Chase was sweet, a conversation with a three year is not something she always wanted, so she decided to answer the phone. “Hello?” “I’m getting married!” “Your what?”

Harmonie had heard her loud and clear but was shocked because, here she was pregnant and now getting married. Harmonie couldn’t help it but she felt a twinge of jealously she was honestly happy for her best friend because she deserved all the happiness she got and she knew RaySean really loved her, but at the same time that was supposed to be Harmonie with all the happiness. “I’m getting married, girl he just asked me and I had to call you first and share the good news!
